Ad Blocker
Ad Blocker Easy Surfing
Don't you love those nasty pop up? If you have ever had a series
of pop up ads slow down or even crash your computer, you are in no
doubt the same frame of mind as I am. Those ads could not be any
more annoying, and that’s how I feel about the people who put them
up. If I see a company name on a pop up ad, I will never shop from
them. If you are going to annoy me like that, there is no way I
want to buy your product or service. The good news is that you can
get an ad blocker that will take care of most of
these ads, and most of the time they are absolutely free of
charge.
If you have the Google toolbar, you have a free ad
blocker to use. I have one of these and it works 99
percent of the time. It even tells me how many ads it has blocked.
It’s amazing how high that number can get in just a few months.
Though most people have ad blockers, there are still a
high number of pop up ads out there. As far as I am concerned, a
pop up ad is much like a telemarketer calling at dinnertime.
They are endlessly annoying, and any type of ad
blocker is a welcome tool on my computer.

Almost any tool bar you can download will have an ad
blocker. I also have one from Furl and they have one as
well. Make sure you know the source of any tool bar before you
download it though, and never get one from an unknown source, even
if you really want the adblocker. Some of them will suck
the life out of your computer and they will send your web browsing
habits to advertisers who want to know where you go online and what
kinds of things you do. Beware of the spyware
adblocker.
Your ad blocker will do well for you
no matter where you get it, but there are some ads it does not
catch for some reason. I’m afraid it’s like spam email. Though
there are ways to get rid of most of it, there are still some that
slip through. As hard as people work to make an ad blocker or spam
eliminator, there is someone else working just as hard to find a
way around the both of them. Neither of these things can be totally
eliminated, at least not right now, but you can greatly minimize
how annoying they are when you are online. So next time you will
enjoy even more your web surfing with an adblocker.
