I used to think the used laptops were a good idea. After all, I have always had an irrational fear of destroying my laptop. I don't understand why it doesn't happen more often. People use their laptops everywhere. They take them to coffee shops, take them to libraries – they even leave them sitting in their cars sometimes. Having used laptop seems like the only reasonable position. You can keep all of your current work on your used refurbished laptops and keep a backup stored on your PC computer at home.

Little did I know how undependable used laptops are. Although you can find used laptops cheap, they are seldom worth it. Basically, even if you spend a little bit more money, you never know what you're getting. Every once in awhile, you can find a deal on a used refurbished laptop that will give you a warranty. Usually, however, these warranties cost almost as much as usedlaptops!  Laptops are unstable to begin with, and often break down with no reason. A used laptop is even more prone to breakage.

Out of three usedlaptops that I have owned, two broke within six months. If I had saved the money that I spent on those used laptops, I could have bought a cheap PC desktop computer. Although it wouldn't have given me the portability that I needed, it still goes to illustrate how much money I wasted on those used laptops. They were guaranteed to be of good quality by the person who checked them out. I don't think he was dishonest either. I think that it is just almost impossible to find out how long used laptops are going to last. I have friends who have bought a used laptop and had at last for a week, and friends who are using laptops used from five years ago. It is a crap shoot and nothing more.

Then again, if you can find used refurbished laptops from a reputable source, you have a better chance of them surviving. My last used laptop is from just such a source. With these use laptops lcd computers, the most important thing is who rebuilds them. The right company, using the right diagnostic equipment and the right parts, can make used laptops last for years and years. They are actually almost as good as buying new laptops, and cost quite a bit less. Still, if you can afford it, buy a laptop new. A new laptop computer is much more likely to go the distance!
